Call Of Duty: Black Ops II And Halo 4 Competes For The Best Game In 2012

Today Activision released Call Of Duty: Black Ops II, while Halo 4 was released by Microsoft Game Studios last week. Let's take a closer look on what these two games are all about, shall we?

Call of Duty: Black Ops II - An entry into the blockbuster first-person shooter franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops II brings players into the shadows for another Black Ops mission assignment. Rooted in near-future fiction, Black Ops II propels players into warfare in an epic single player campaign highlighted by branching storylines and non-linear missions. A re-imagined multiplayer suite introduces players to some of the most cutting-edge weaponry and equipment that 2025 will have to offer. And on the outskirts of the campaign is an all-new Zombies experience running in the multiplayer engine.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a first-shooter game that's rated "M" for mature -- with use of some strong language, intense violence, blood and gore, use of drugs and suggestive themes. Game can be played on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Windows PC.

Halo 4 - Master Chief returns in Halo 4, part of a new trilogy in the colossal Halo universe. Set almost five years after the events of Halo 3, Halo 4 takes the series in a new direction and sets the stage for an epic new sci-fi saga, in which the Master Chief returns to confront his destiny and face an ancient evil that threatens the fate of the entire universe. Halo 4 also introduces a new multiplayer offering, called Halo Infinity Multiplayer, that builds off of the Halo franchise's rich multiplayer history. The hub of the Halo 4 multiplayer experience is the UNSC Infinity -- the largest starship in the UNSC fleet that serves as the center of your Spartan career. Here you'll build your custom Spartan-IV super soldier, and progress your multiplayer career accross all Halo 4 competitive and cooperative game modes.

Halo 4 is a first-shooter game that's rated "M" for mature -- with use of blood and violence. Game can be played on the Xbox 360 game console platform.

So which one of these two games do you think will win the best game for this year? If you ask me they are both pretty cool games in their own rights. But hey, some gamers may have more or less different opinions than mine on the subject, so I'll let you take your pick and you decide for yourself. Enjoy!
