Walmart Offers iPhone 5 With Unlimited Service And No Contract For $45/Mo

Walmart has announced that it has partnered with Straight Talk Wireless to offer the new iPhone 5 with unlimited talk, text and data with no contract for just $45 a month, starting on January 11.

However, since Straight Talk Wireless is a pre-paid mobile carrier, customers must pay the full retail price of the iPhone 5. Currently, the iPhone 5 (16GB) in a white or black color sells for $649 at Walmart.

To make the offer even more affordable, Walmart will be offering customers who purchase the iPhone 5 in the store, a no interest fixed monthly payments special financing offer for only $25 a month with a Walmart credit card.

Customers must remember though, that if they'll buy the iPhone 5 at Walmart using the Walmart credit card, they'll pay the $25 a month on top of the $45 a month, which makes it $70 a month. So paying the iPhone 5 in full right away without the use of the Walmart credit card is how you get the $45 a month deal.

Meanwhile, Straight Talk Wireless also offer a $60 no contract monthly plan with unlimited nationwide talk, text, and data PLUS unlimited international calling to more than 1,000 destinations in Mexico, Canada, India, and in other countries.

By the way, the same offer also applies to iPhone 4 (8GB) which you can buy at Walmart for $449 and is available in black or white color, as well.

The program will roll out this Friday (January 11) at over 2,000 Walmart locations accross the U.S. as well as the company's online store, according to Walmart.
