How to use T3 SinglePass Curl Iron

Once you plug in the curling iron, you’ll immediately see one of the five temperature light indicators near the base blinking.
The blinking should stop after a few seconds which means the iron is ready to use. Between the light array and start of the power cord is a small notch allowing you twist the base to cycle through the temperature settings, and you can get from 260F or 127C up to 410 F and 210 C.
Here’s the full list of temperature settings
-
- 1 light – 260°F / 127°C
- 2 lights – 300°F / 149°C
- 3 lights – 350°F / 177°C
- 4 lights – 390°F / 199°C
- 5 lights – 410°F / 210°C
T3’s user manual recommends the lowest two temperatures for damaged, fine, or chemically treated hair. Twisting and holding the knob for a couple of seconds will switch off the iron and remember the last setting.
Tech inside T3 SinglePass Curl Iron

Unlike irons or multi stylers with different size barrels, here you’re limited to one size of curl. I chose the 1 inch size because I find it to be quite versatile; Leave the curls as they are for a more ringlet style look, or brush them out for beachy waves.
The SinglePass, as the name suggests should give you a solid curl in a single pass. I did find this to be true, but I’m not sure that’s because of any special tech T3 has in here… For the most part, if you choose the right temperature for your hair type, you should be able to get a curl with any iron by curling it once only. You might need multiple passes on cheaper irons without any temperature adjustability.
So the SinglePass iron is indeed a single pass, but that’s really par for the curling ion course.
Weight, Cord, Auto-off

In addition to the 1-inch model, you can also opt for the 1 ¼-inch, 1 ½-inch, ½-inch and ¾-inch sizes.
Overall review: T3 SinglePass Curl Iron

In short, if you’re looking for a simple, more cost effective curling iron, the T3 SinglePass iron performs exactly as promised. It sells for about $169.99 USD and you can get it from T3 or Amazon.
