Like, its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ still has fast charging and fast wireless charging. What’s new is that now the S10’s come with something called wireless Power Share. With Power Share you can now charge any Qi wireless device by placing it on top of the new Samsung smartphones. But it’s not quite that simple. If you simply place the items back to back, nothing will happen.
How to use Samsung Power Share on S10
Here’s how to enable Samsung Power Share on S10 :
For starters, you do need a minimum 30% battery to share. You can’t just place the two items back to back, you actually have to tell your Samsung S10+ to share juice. To turn this feature on.. swipe down from the top of the screen using two fingers to open Quick Settings.
How do I turn on Power Share on Samsung S10 smartphones?
Touch ‘Wireless PowerShare’ option, and then follow the on-screen instructions to use it, which basically involves flipping the phone over, and placing whatever you want on the back. You should see it start charging… and worth noting this will work with any Qi enabled device, including other manufacturers’ phones, like a Google Pixel and Apple iPhone.
To check on the charging status at any time, you can flip the phone over and touch the notification in the Notification Panel. Though that’s likely going to disengage the charge, so…
The speed and power efficiency varies by device, and it’s not going to work through all covers or with all accessories. But that’s how to use Power Share.
